Nevertheless, the use of alternatives like ammonium sulfate (SAM) has been growing among Brazilian producers. As for phosphates, such as MAP, they continue to have little attractiveness in negotiations, while potash prices are more stable. The drop in fertilizer prices brought some relief, but the exchange ratio (ER) still limits purchase decisions for part of the crops.
