According to data released by the Center for Advanced Studies in Applied Economics (Cepea), the prices of arabica and robusta coffees showed strong fluctuation in November, but without significant deviations from October levels. For arabica type 6, hard bean for better, posted in the capital of São Paulo, the CEPEA/ESALQ Indicator had a monthly average of R$ 2,245.16 per 60 kg bag — just 0.5% above the value recorded in October. Throughout the month, the quotation varied between R$ 2,100 and R$ 2,300. As for robusta type 6 coffee, screen 13 above, to be picked up in Espírito Santo, it had an average of R$ 1,384.46 per bag, with a slight 1% increase compared to the previous month. Prices oscillated between R$ 1,300 and R$ 1,400, remaining in the same range as October.
