The USDA forecasts a 26% increase in India's table grape production for the 2021/22 season, reaching 2.9 million tons, due to relaxed quarantine measures during the production period. Domestic consumption and exports are also expected to rise, with consumption growing by 25% to 2.2 million tons and exports by 5% to 280 thousand tons. The EU, Bangladesh, and the Netherlands are the primary markets for Indian table grapes, receiving 32%, 27%, and 27% of the exports, respectively.
