The Ministry of Agriculture and Food is on track to complete the spring sowing of early grains and legumes within the next 7–8 days, with an aim to finish sowing in southern regions by the end of this week. The focus will then shift to spring rapeseed and corn, with a target to complete all sowing activities by May 9. The sowing of flax and sugar beets has already commenced. Deputy Minister Vladimir Grakun assured the availability of essential resources for the sowing season, including a 115 percent increase in mineral fertilizers by the end of May, along with ample fuel and protective equipment for farms. The success of this year's harvest is contingent upon timely chemical weeding and pest control measures.
