A farm from Cherkasy region is replacing an apple orchard with vegetables. This season, the agricultural cooperative "Volya" (Cherkasy region) has sown 10 hectares of winter onions, and in early October, for the first time, 5 hectares of winter garlic. This was reported by Vyacheslav Kislitsyn, deputy director of the company's vegetable farming department at "Volya." Previously, the farm was called "Zolotonosha gardens," later it became part of the agricultural cooperative "Volya," and the 10-year-old apple orchard was uprooted for the vegetable project.
