Kazakhstan: In Kostanay region, 70 farms are developing commercial fish production

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, whitefish and carp fish species are traditionally grown in the region's lakes, and this year, sturgeon has been bred for the first time. "The first major project for fish farming and processing with a capacity of 45 tons of products per year has been implemented in the region. The cost of the project was 300 million tenge. The farm processes about 500 kg of fish daily. In the future, it is planned to increase the range, processing about 100 items.
