In the first four months of 2024, the sea ports of Kuban have seen a significant increase in agricultural exports, with peas exports surging by 68% to nearly 587 thousand tons, primarily to India and China. Lentil exports, on the other hand, saw a decrease of 78% compared to the previous year, amounting to 6 thousand tons, mainly to India and Turkey. Spring exports in Kuban reached 2.2 million tons, twice the amount of the same period last year. Barley was the largest component of these exports, followed by an increase in exports of oats, rye, and flax.
