In October, exports of Ukrainian sunflower meal to China increased significantly

According to operational data, exports of sunflower meal from Ukraine in October 2023/24 MY increased to 359 thousand tons, which is 28% more than in September, but 2% lower than in October 2022. The increase in the reporting month occurred mainly due to account of China, where the maximum volume of this product was exported in the last 7 months - 144 thousand tons (an increase of 2.4 times compared to September), which was facilitated by an increase in shipments of products from the ports of Odessa. However, over 2 months of the new season, exports of Ukrainian sunflower meal to China decreased by 47% compared to the same period in 2022/23 MY.
