In the last 12 months, prices in the economy have increased by 32% according to the measurement by INDEC. The balance is more than positive for beef prices, which have accumulated an average increase of 54% across all cuts. However, the trend has been changing over the last four months, and today the reality is different. Consumer prices have lost the race against inflation, amid a scenario of high slaughter and in which exports began to compete with consumption only in the last two months, as they were lower than those of 2024 in the previous months.
