The Serbian Government has introduced a Regulation making it mandatory to produce and sell bread made from flour type 500, at a retail price of 59 dinars for the next six months. The maximum production price has been set at 50.60 dinars. The regulation also limits the maximum markup on the sold price of bread to 6%, and non-compliance can result in fines ranging from 5,000 to 2 million dinars. The regulation, effective from November 22, aims to control the price of a basic food product.
