The Krasnodar Territory, a major agricultural region in Russia, exported 231 thousand tons of oilseeds, including flax, coriander, mustard, sunflower, safflower, and rapeseed, to 29 countries in the first half of 2024. The main importers were Belgium, China, Bangladesh, and Türkiye. Wheat, barley, corn, rye, and oats were also exported, with wheat making up over 80% of the total grain exports. The ports of Novorossiysk and other areas in the Krasnodar Territory are crucial for Russia's grain export activities.
