In western Ukraine, sclerotiniosis is reaching epidemic proportions. According to Mykola Suchok, director of the agrotechnical department of ProPole, the infection of sunflower, soybean, and rapeseed crops is occurring in a "avalanche-like wave" due to the oversaturation of crop rotation. The expert advises farmers to conduct fungicidal protection in a timely manner and to use biopreparations to destroy sclerotia after harvesting.
