This was stated by the head of the analytical department of the Association "Pig Breeders of Ukraine" Oleksandra Bondarska, reports UNIAN. Demand from meat processors usually increases at the end of November as they begin preparations for the winter holidays. In December, consumer demand picks up. A price increase for the product is not predicted in the near future. The analyst explains that typically pork prices decrease somewhat at the end of the third to the beginning of the fourth quarter due to a seasonal weakening of consumer demand.
