As of January 1, 2026, in Ukraine, 95% of the areas under grain and leguminous crops have been threshed — this is 11.0 million hectares out of the forecasted 11.65 million hectares. According to operational data from the regions, 57.9 million tons of grain have been harvested, with an average yield of 5.26 tons/ha. The highest productivity among grains is traditionally shown by corn — 7.13 tons/ha, with 89% of the area harvested (3.89 million hectares). Wheat has been threshed on 98% of the area, with a yield of 4.56 tons/ha, barley — 98%, yield 3.99 tons/ha, peas — 96%, yield 2.44 tons/ha, buckwheat — 97%, yield 1.39 tons/ha, millet — 88%, yield 1.74 tons/ha.
