In Ukraine, the spring campaign for stocking water bodies has started

Comfortable weather conditions, rising water temperature and sufficient oxygen content in it created favorable conditions for the start of stocking in water bodies. Work on replenishing reservoirs with new generations of valuable fish species has begun, in particular, in Poltava Oblast. This was reported by the press service of the State Fisheries Agency. Thus, with the support of Poltava OVA, 26,000 specimens of juvenile fish were stocked in the Kamian Reservoir within the Kremenchug district yesterday: 22,900 specimens of crucian carp, 3,700 specimens of carp with a total weight of almost 5 tons. The move-in took place at the expense of compensatory funds of the enterprise, which carries out work on the lands of the water fund.
