In Poltava Oblast, the State Fisheries Agency has initiated the process of replenishing local water bodies with juvenile fish, taking advantage of the favorable weather conditions. This effort, supported by the Poltava OVA, has led to the introduction of 26,000 juvenile fish, including crucian carp and carp, into the Kamian Reservoir, and an additional 4,600 carp and white carp into the Dry Kagamlyk River. These activities, funded by compensatory funds and the Kremenchug City Council under the Environmental Protection Program, aim to improve the survival rates and growth of these valuable fish species in their natural habitats.
