This week, greenhouse tomato prices in Ukraine have dropped sharply, according to EastFruit project analysts. The reason for the price reduction, according to project experts, was the mass harvesting of both greenhouse tomatoes and tomatoes from film greenhouses in the southern regions of the country. At the same time, the demand for these products remains stably high, but the supply of tomatoes is growing very quickly, and therefore prices continue to fall rapidly. According to the daily monitoring of the project, the establishment of warm and sunny weather in most of Ukraine accelerated the ripening of tomato and led to an increase in the supply of this product on the market.
