The Ministry of Agriculture inaugurates the first Saudi Arabian farm to export Murciano goats

The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, represented by the Agency for Agriculture, inaugurated the first Saudi farm to export Morciano goats, as the first license obtained by livestock breeders, to export this distinctive category and quality of goats in the Kingdom, in the presence of the Undersecretary for Agriculture, Eng. Ahmed bin Saleh Al-Ayada, at the Ministry’s headquarters in the capital, Riyadh. The Director-General of the General Administration of Animal Production at the ministry, Dr. Al-Arabi Al-Ameem, explained that the Murciano or Murcia-Granada goat breed produces, on average, 800 to 1000 liters of milk annually, with a lactation period of about 210 days.
