India is looking to increase the export of potatoes and pomegranates to Russia, as per the federal service for the supervision of consumer rights protection in Russia, Rosselkhoznadzor. The service has already shared the phytosanitary requirements set by the Eurasian Economic Union for the import of these fruits and vegetables. Once India provides the required information on the export volumes, cultivation places, and quarantine facilities, the dialogue between the two countries will continue to expand the supply of Indian fruits and vegetables to Russia. At present, Russia imports grapes, raisins, dried vegetables, bananas, raw tobacco, and tea from India.
