Russian agricultural watchdog Rosselkhoznadzor and Indian representatives have discussed the potential for supplying Indian potatoes and pomegranates to Russia. Currently, Russia imports grapes, raisins, dried vegetables, bananas, raw tobacco, and tea from India. The Indian authorities have expressed interest in expanding the range of products sold and are seeking to supply potatoes and pomegranates to Russia. Rosselkhoznadzor is awaiting information on the planned volumes of these exports and the quarantine measures in India related to these goods. Negotiations will continue after this information is received.
