According to Khushwant Jain, former Chairman of the Indian Oilseeds and Produce Export Promotion Council, India is expected to increase its sales of oilseeds to foreign markets by 10-15% in the current fiscal year. This growth is driven by increased demand from Southeast Asia, Latin America, and Africa. India's main exports include peanuts, sesame, soybeans, and sunseed, with major buyers being Indonesia, Vietnam, China, Malaysia, the Philippines, and the EU.
