Indonesia is planning to increase its red snapper exports to the US market, capitalizing on the growing demand for seafood in the US and the diversification trends of importers like Charoen Pokphand Foods (CPF). CPF's monthly demand for red snapper in the US is around 20 boxes, with the commodity initially valued at $2.5 million annually. Indonesia, currently the seventh-largest supplier of fishery products to the US, will showcase its red snapper and other products at the Seafood Expo North America in Boston.
