Photo: ANTARA In a statement in Jakarta on 29/01/2026, Indonesian Trade Minister Budi Santoso said that the regulation was stipulated in Trade Ministry Regulation No. 01 of 2026 concerning the regulations for natural rubber with export technical standards. According to the Minister, the regulation includes contents on conditions for export businesses, SIR quality standards, labeling requirements for exported SIR, as well as mechanisms for supervising export activities. "Consistent quality standards are the key factor to enhance market confidence and ensure the sustainability of the national rubber industry. We recommend that businesses producing and exporting SIR should thoroughly study the current regulations and implementation methods," Budi emphasized.
