In June, Peru's national production rose by 23.45% as reported by the National Institute of Statistics and Informatics (INEI), with the exception of fishing which experienced a decrease. The agricultural sector grew by 8.90% due to an increase in the agricultural subsector by 11.87%, caused by an expansion in harvested area and favorable weather conditions. The products with the highest production volume include onion, olives, hard yellow corn, and paddy rice. The livestock subsector also saw growth, with a 2.23% increase, driven by higher production of pigs, beef, fresh milk, and poultry.
