The International Grains Council (IGC) has released its forecast for cereal production in 2025/26, anticipating an overall increase, with corn leading the growth, followed by wheat and barley. The U.S. is expected to see a record corn production of 394.2 million tons, a rise from 377.6 million tons in 2024/25, with an expected increase in corn acreage. Brazil's corn production is forecasted to reach 130 million tons, up from 123.3 million tons in 2024/25, and Argentina's production is expected to increase to 59.1 million tons, up from 53 million tons in the same period. Ukraine's corn production is also expected to rise to 30 million tons in 2025/26, up from 26.5 million tons last year.
