(Agraria.pe) The Association of Exporters (ADEX) and the Competitiveness Compensation Program (Agroideas) of the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri), presented the Peruvian Coffee Passport –Summer Edition 2026–, an exclusive guide that invites coffee lovers to immerse themselves in a unique coffee route through the best coffee bars in Lima and Callao. This initiative will play a fundamental role, as it will not only connect the local public with specialty coffee shops but will also drive innovation and contribute to the positioning of this aromatic grain in the country. The objective is to increase the per capita consumption of coffee in the country, which barely borders 1.6 kilograms per person per year, a low volume when compared to other countries in the region such as Colombia (2.5 kg) or Brazil (5.5 kg).
