This represents a 54% increase in weight and a 41% increase in value from the previous year, according to the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration. The UAE, China, and Spain were the primary importers of Iran's saffron, with the UAE importing 3.91 tons, China importing 3.76 tons, and Spain importing 2.34 tons.
