The Conjunctural Report released by Emater/RS-Ascar this Thursday (13) indicates that the implementation of irrigated rice in Rio Grande do Sul "is nearing its end," with less than 20% of the total area left to be sown. The bulletin reports that the rains recorded at the beginning of November "restored soil moisture and favored the regularization of the water layer," but reduced the pace of sowing "due to water saturation and reduced machinery mobility."
