Isfahan Province is a major contributor to Iran's agricultural sector, producing approximately 40% of the country's turkey meat with an annual output of 11,000 tons. It operates 120 turkey production units and ranks high in the production of various other agricultural products such as milk, ornamental fish, chicken, eggs, ostrich meat, onions, greenhouse products, potatoes, honey, and mushrooms. However, Iran's per capita consumption of turkey meat is significantly lower than that of European and American countries.
