Brazilian exports of fresh beef reached a record high in September: 314.7 thousand tons, according to data released by the Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex). The figures represent a 25.1% increase compared to the same month last year. According to an analysis by the Center for Advanced Studies in Applied Economics (Cepea), the shipments of the protein in 2025 have surpassed all monthly results obtained in the previous year. Thus, the accumulated total of the first three quarters of this year already represents 85% of the total exported in 2024. With this, the year is on track to have the highest result in history, despite the ongoing tariff hike by the United States. In addition, in financial terms, the shipments of beef in September brought in almost R$ 9.5 billion in revenue.
