The Jangseung Farmers' Union (Permanent Chairman Jeong Yun-sang) held a donation ceremony for helping disadvantaged neighbors in the region on the 22nd. The Farmers' Union is a coalition organization formed by 10 agricultural-related groups pooling their intentions. At the donation ceremony, 70 bags (10 kg per bag) of rice, prepared with the dedication of the member organizations, were delivered to the comprehensive social welfare center. The donated rice will be used for low-income and vulnerable groups in the area. Jeong Yun-sang, Permanent Chairman of the Jangseung Farmers' Union, said, "It is even more meaningful that 10 agricultural-related organizations can come together and convey warmth to the local community" and "As the year-end approaches, we hope to be a small support for neighbors who are facing difficulties."
