Jeju Island Designates 214 Green Tangerine Farms for This Year's Harvest

Jeju Special Self-Governing Province announced that it has completed the designation of green tangerine farms by 2025 to increase the utilization of functional components and encourage safe green tangerine production. This year's designated green tangerine farms include a total of 214 farms, with 111 farms in Jeju City and 103 farms in Seogwipo City, which are expected to ship 741 tons of green tangerines. Green tangerine farms will receive support for logistics costs, including residual pesticide safety test fees, dedicated box purchase costs, and delivery fees. However, they must complete orchard management education before shipping and attach a green tangerine farm designation ribbon to the applied orchards.
