Jeonnam Province has selected Cheonnyeon Damju, a traditional liquor representing November, made from 100% organically farmed Korean rice fermentation liquid, aged at low temperatures. Cheonnyeon Damju has a peculiar charm with its mouth-puckering bitterness and fruity sweetness. Without any artificial sweeteners, it uses biota powder and reed roots to achieve a clean and savory taste, and its clear, golden hue is attractive. Notably, the flavor and aroma from the honey are abundant, making it a wonderful match with dessert. It received the Excellence Award in the medicinal and clear liquor category at the 2020 Republic of Korea Korean Liquor Appraisal Committee, and the Excellence and Merit Awards in the medicinal and clear liquor category at the Jeonnam Korean Liquor Appraisal Committee in 2022 and 2024, respectively.
