Jeonnam Province opened a permanent sales outlet and a "Jeonnam Cafe Qingdao Branch" in Chengyang District, Qingdao City, Shandong Province, China, on the 25th, to secure stable sales channels for Jeonnam's excellent agricultural, fishery, and food products in China and to spread K-Food consumption. The Qingdao sales outlet features over 40 types of agricultural and processed products, including abalone porridge made from Jeonnam's representative specialty abalone, seafood such as laver, seaweed, and kelp, and beverages like green tea and yuzu tea. Qingdao, a representative city in Shandong Province with a population of about 10 million, is one of the regions with the largest number of Korean expatriates. With the steady increase in demand for Korean food recently, not only Korean expatriates but also local consumers in Jeonnam are increasingly interested in Jeonnam's agricultural, fishery, and food products.
