The Jeonnam Marine and Fisheries Science Institute announced that it is recruiting applicants for the 2026 aquaculture business compound feed purchase fund support program until the 27th to alleviate the burden of operating costs for aquaculture businesses due to rising feed prices. The support targets aquaculture businesses that use compound feed for fish, shrimp, shellfish, and shellfish farming, and are registered as fishing businesses or fishing corporations with aquaculture licenses, permits, and notifications under the Fisheries Act and the Fisheries Industry Development Act. The support scale is up to 300 million won per aquaculture business (corporation) as a loan with an annual interest rate of 1%. The repayment period is 2 years for shellfish and 3 years for fish, shrimp, shellfish, and other fish (including inland and marine waters), and it allows for one-time repayment or installment payments.
