Jinan Melon, First Export to Hong Kong

Melons grown in Jinan County have set out on their first export journey to Hong Kong. On the 4th, Jinan County held a melon export shipment ceremony at the Baekun Agricultural Cooperative Seongsu Branch Melon Sorting Center with about 20 people in attendance, including Jeon Chun-seong, the county mayor, county officials, agricultural cooperative executives, exporters, and producers. The Jinan melons shipped that day were 2.4 tons, and this is the first time that melons have been exported from Jinan. The melons being exported were grown by the Melon Industry Association (Chairman Jeon Byeong-ho), which Baekun Agricultural Cooperative organized to intensively cultivate specialized crops.
