The Jindo County Agricultural Technology Center recently held a technical education session on pest and disease control for autumn field crops for local farmers. This education session invited a doctor from the Eco-City Research Institute led by Lee Ki-sang, who analyzed pest and disease cases occurring in major field crops such as green onions, cabbage, and peppers, and systematically explained the damage characteristics and control techniques of major pests such as the pale-striped flea beetle and root mites. Additionally, to help farmers utilize it immediately on site, the session provided guidance on the correct use of environmentally friendly control materials such as soil disinfection methods and pheromones, offering practical information beneficial to farmers, and an active question and answer session took place.
