K-chicken captivates global palates this year... kimchi and bibimbap also popular

The survey, which targeted 11,000 consumers in major cities across 22 countries, was released on the 23rd as part of the 2025 Overseas Korean Food Consumer Survey. Bibimbap, kimchi, and Korean-style chicken were found to be capturing the global palate, strengthening the brand value of Korean food in the global market. The "most preferred Korean food" was Korean-style chicken at 14%, followed by kimchi at 9.5%, and bibimbap at 8.2%.
