Kazakhstan has extended its ban on the export of live cattle, sheep, and goats for another six months, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Finance. The order aims to control meat product prices, increase the number of livestock, and supply domestic meat processing plants with raw materials. The ban, which was initially implemented, allows for the export of up to 30,000 heads of livestock per year, which is less than 5% of the total number in the country.
