The Russian Grain Quality Assessment Center has reported that Turkey is the leading importer of Russian grain products, having received 7.5 million tons of grain, including 4.6 million tons of wheat, since the start of the new agricultural year. Egypt ranks second with 3.7 million tons of wheat imports, and Kazakhstan follows in third place with 1.9 million tons of grain, primarily wheat. Other significant importers include Kyrgyzstan and Spain, with 357 thousand tons and 24 thousand tons of rye and 6 thousand tons of peas respectively. These imports mark increases of 7% for Turkey, 66% for Kazakhstan, and new exports to Spain.
