Kazakhstan is set to increase wheat exports to China due to the high quality of this year's harvest, with a projected volume of around 18 million tons of grain and oilseeds. Despite a decrease in grain volume due to drought, the country's internal demand will be met and there is potential to export 6-6.5 million tons. The government is also increasing the sown area for oilseeds, fodder crops, vegetable and melon crops, and potatoes.
