Kazakhstan has imported over 2 million tons of wheat from Russia this season, making it the third largest importer of Russian wheat behind Turkey and Egypt. Meanwhile, Kazakhstan's wheat exports have increased to a record high of nearly 8 million tons due to the highest harvest in the last 12 years. The main recipients of Kazakhstan's wheat exports are Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, and Azerbaijan.
