Kazakhstan's vegetable oil production and exports for the 2022/23 marketing year are expected to increase, driven by the sunflower oil segment and higher export shipments to China, according to Oil World analysts. This growth is attributed to the significant processing of oilseeds, especially sunflower seeds, which surged by 40% last season. The country's sunflower oil exports doubled in the previous season, reaching a record 200 thousand tons, while rapeseed oil exports also saw an increase. Uzbekistan, China, and Tajikistan are the primary recipients of these exports.
