· Carrots down by 1.7%
· Cabbage down by 1.0%
· Potatoes down by 0.8%
· Sunflower oil and sugar each down by 0.3%
· Flour and rice each down by 0.1%
The food price index for socially significant foods remained at 0% for the week of October 7 (September 30 to October 7), with prices for 6 other commodities remaining stable.
Meanwhile, some food prices saw a slight increase:
· Buckwheat up by 0.7%
· Beef up by 0.4%
· Butter and eggs each up by 0.3%
· Milk and cheese up by 0.1%
The Ministry of Commerce stated that local branches continue to monitor the sales price increase rate for socially significant foods, which must not exceed 15%. Since the beginning of the year, 2293 administrative penalty decisions have been issued for violating price increase regulations.
