The Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, Aidarbek Sapparov, discussed the expansion of sunflower oil exports from the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Islamic Republic of Iran with the Minister of Agricultural Jihad of Iran, Gholamreza Nouri Gezeldjehi. According to the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, in 2024, 5,900 tons of this product were sent to Iran, and Kazakh processors are ready to increase volumes to 500,000 tons per year. An important step towards this will be the construction of oil loading terminals in the ports of Kuryk and Aktau, which will allow for increased throughput capacity and optimized logistics.
