In Kenya, avocado farming is gaining popularity in places like Kirinyaga, with growers like Boniface Fundi replacing coffee plants with avocado trees. Fundi's experience resulted in a profitable harvest of around € 1,200 from 15 trees, sparking interest in avocado and macadamia farming among other growers. The increase in international demand, particularly in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE, contributes to the profitability of avocado farming, with potential profits reaching over € 228,822 annually.
