On the night of December 24th to December 25th, Kernel's assets, namely the Ilyichevsk Oil and Fat Plant (IOZP) located in the city of Chornomorsk in the Odesa region, came under attack from the Russian Federation, writes APK-Inform. As was noted, as a result of a drone strike, a container with oil was damaged, which led to a large-scale fire and oil spill. The fire engulfed the plant's production facilities, creating a serious threat to the infrastructure and personnel. Fragments of the drone also damaged part of the production block. Work is currently underway to eliminate the consequences of the attack and assess the damage caused, including determining the volume of lost oil.
