The Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and Ukraine's Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food have launched a distribution of modular granaries for farmers in the Kharkiv region, as part of the Grain Storage Support Strategy. The strategy is supported by Canada, Japan, and the Minderoo Foundation, and aims to strengthen the sustainability of Ukraine's agricultural sector in the east and south. The program is open to farmers with at least 100 hectares of cultivated land and the necessary storage equipment, with priority given to those near the front line. The FAO is also distributing seeds in the Kharkiv region, supported by Norway and Japan, with preference given to small and medium-sized farms near the front line.
