Bulgaria's Prime Minister, Kiril Petkov, has announced that the country will purchase wheat from producers at market prices to ensure bread availability until 2023. The country plans to buy approximately 1.5 million tons of grain this week and store it in state reserve warehouses. This decision is a precaution due to potential grain supply issues in Ukraine. The prime minister also assured that negotiations are underway to ensure gas and fuel supply, with alternative sources being explored.
