Polish goose exports are falling. In 2023, 13.9 thousand tons of goose meat were exported to foreign markets, compared to 20.8 thousand tons in the record-breaking year of 2016. At the same time, goose production in our country increased to 1.11 million pieces - according to data from the National Support Center for Agriculture. According to a study by the KOWR analysis and strategy office, more goose meat was exported in the eight months of 2024 than a year earlier - 3 thousand tons compared to 2.8 thousand tons (an increase in export volume by 6 percent). The largest amount of goose meat from Poland is exported to European Union markets. For many years, Germany has been the main recipient of this meat.
