Kyungnong speeds up establishment of smart farms in the Philippines

KyungNong is accelerating the establishment of smart farms in the Philippines as part of a service by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). According to KyungNong, the first meeting of the "Project for Strengthening the Value Chain of High-Income Crops in the Western Visayas Region through the Application of Smart Agriculture," co-chaired by KOICA's Philippines Office Director Jung Young-sun and Cheryl Marie Natividad Caballero, Vice-Director of the High-Value Crop Development Program at the Philippine Department of Agriculture, was recently held. The "Project for Strengthening the Value Chain of High-Income Crops in the Western Visayas Region through the Application of Smart Agriculture" is a project to be carried out over five years from 2023 to 2027 with an 8 million dollar grant from KOICA.
